N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG) is an amino sugar that is an essential building block for glycoproteins and glycosaminoglycans. The glycoprotein layer in the mucosal lining of the digestive tract has a high content of NAG. This layer is the protective barrier against stomach acids, pancreatic and stomach enzymes, and bacteria. Because of the constant protection, the cells of the mucosal lining replace themselves every 3-4 days. Animals with irritable bowels, colitis, and other digestive problems have a much higher cell turnover rate than normal. NAG helps to support the health and maintenance of the digestive tract lining.
Lactobacillus Acidophilus (non dairy) is an acid producing beneficial microbial or probiotic (flora) that helps restore intestinal flora which may be destroyed by harmful bacteria. It aids in the manufacture of B vitamins, digestive enzymes and helps to maintain the proper ph in the gut.
Alfalfa is an excellent source of Vitamin K to help the body produce more of its own beneficial microbials. Alfalfa provides chlorophyll for healing and cleansing of the bloodstream.

Each capsule provides: 250 mg N-Acetyl Glucosamine, 100 mg Alfalfa, 14
million C.F.U. Lactobacillus Acidophilus (non-dairy), 4.5 mg Proteolytic
Enzymes (Pepsin, Papain, Bromelain).
As a dietary supplement, give one capsule per 10 lbs. of body weight.
Always round up to the nearest 10 lbs. For doses of more than one capsule,
divide between AM and PM. Capsules may be given orally or broken open and
